Rendering
We hand render all our organic, grass-fed beef tallow right here on our farm. We use our tallow in all our products so we have to carefully allocate our supply. Bar soap requires lots of tallow, so we try to only make what we need.

Curing
Traditional Soap making uses simple ingredients, but the process requires a minimum of 4 weeks for the soap bars to cure. This means we have to manage stock-keeping, and try to guess how much stock we need in advance.

Supply
Once we have a batch made and curing, our focus returns to keeping our other popular products in-stock, and before we know it, the bar soap has sold out! That's why we prefer to keep a ledger of customers to make bar soap for.

The Soap Ledger is a limited subscription that ensures we make bar soap for you, not just for the shelf.
Once you’re on the ledger:
- Your bars are accounted for in every batch
- Your soap is made, cured, and set aside specifically for you

Places are limited because we only make what we can properly cure and produce on the farm.

Choose your quantity of bars for a bi-monthly delivery frequency and you'll get auto-shipped soap from our next scheduled batch.

Your subscription allows us to plan batches in advance and cure them properly.

Once your name is on our ledger, your bars are shipped automatically — no waiting for restocks.

Because we can only render so much tallow and we want to ensure we have enough to allocate to all our products.
Bar soap curing time and batch size also limit how much we can make.
Can I pause or skip a delivery?
Yes. Subscriptions can be paused, delivery interval skipped, or cancelled at any time.
Is this cheaper than buying individually?
Yes, building a subscription bundle gives you our 10% subscription discount.

When will my first bars ship?
Your first shipment will align with the next cured batch scheduled after you join. Shipping is scheduled for the first Tuesday of every second month starting from February. There will be a total of 6 shipments a year.
