An exceptionally rare Australian native essential oil, grown and steam-distilled by the pioneering family farm in south-west Western Australia. Its warm honey-citrus aroma is the signature of the balm.
The foundation of every jar: certified organic suet from 100% grass-fed cattle, slowly wet-rendered by us on our farm before it enters the formula.
Rich in rare punicic acid (Omega-5), with research showing pomegranate seed oil can help inhibit collagen-degrading enzymes — supporting the skin's natural structural integrity.
A concentrated source of carotenoids and antioxidant compounds. Alongside calendula, its naturally golden-orange pigment helps create the balm’s vivid lemon-yellow colour.
Calendula flowers infused into olive oil for a gentle, comforting botanical extract and a naturally golden hue.
Lightweight and silky, squalane softens the richer tallow base and helps a very small amount spread in a fine, even layer.
A light, stable emollient that adds slip and smooth spreadability without making the finished balm feel unnecessarily heavy.

I was thrilled to receive my new Tilba Tallow purchase. I have fond memories visiting this beautiful rural region of NSW years ago. The convenient tub of gorgeous yellow balm was beautifully presented and packaged. There's something so special when you know that what you are applying to your skin is absolutely natural, high quality, having been made with loving care and even nourishingly beneficial. The balm feels lovely to apply to my face & hands and I have experienced no greasiness or skin reactions to date, only soft well nourished skin. Absolutely love the product! My skin is very dry and can at times be flakey. The tallow is so soothing and moisturising to my skin with a glow and softness lasting days. Smells beautiful too! Definitely buying again once it runs out.

It smells fresh and lemony. The texture in the jar is firm but it quickly softens in your fingers and spreads easily on your skin. You don’t need much- a little bit goes a long way! My skin feels smooth and looks soft and dewy after application. It doesn’t feel thick or greasy at all. I’ve only been using it for a week and only at night. I’ve noticed my face is smoother, more hydrated and remains so after my early morning walks on these chilly mornings. My beautician told me that I could probably use it as a base before makeup for day use as my skin is mature and dry. I’ll start doing that!
