1. It all starts with cows in the paddock. We render our own beef fat on farm which becomes the nourishing base of all our products.
2. Once the fat is rendered into tallow, it is then saponified with lye. For liquid soap, this process takes at least 24 hours of carefully tending the mixture and maintaining the right temperature.
3. The lye transforms most of the fatty acids into glycerol and the resulting soap is called Potassium Tallowate - technically a form of potassium salt.
4. The last stage is to combine our steam distilled eucalyptus oil that we grow and distil on the farm and carefully dilute the soap batter to formulate a smooth, silky, gel that your skin will adore.

Commercial soaps are formulated for instant production, meaning they don't require any curing time or careful blending process. These are not natural soaps, but a combination of foaming agents, detergents, surfactants and preservatives. Many instant formulation ingredients such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Parabens, and Triclosan have been shown to be disruptive to hormone production, even mimicking hormones to throw our natural endocrine system out of whack.
